Word for the day by Brother Marshall:
The word for today is: James 1:2-8 NIV
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. You know that we all have good and bad days. Some days things just don't go according to the way that we plan them. God is still God and He alone is in control of everything! Genesis 1:1-5, 31 NIV
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day. Listen, everyday is a challenge! It's not what you go through that matters, it's how you go through it that counts. Have a great day!
